Legacy Homes and Investment (Ablekuma Teachers Co-operative Union) have achieved a lot within the past fifteen (15) years of its existence by providing affordable lands for teaachers, public servants and other workers in general at various parts of the country to put up their own houses.
Some of these places can be found at Oyibi opposite the Apolonia City in the Greater Accra Region where the company has been able to provide affordable lands to over two hundred and fifty (250) workers. As at now, some of the people have put up their own houses and living there right now. Others are also putting up their various stages of completion and that place will soon become a complete city mainly for workers especially teachers.
At the same Oyibi, there is a phase two of the land which has been given out to over one hundred eighty-four (184) teachers aand other workers from the banks and insurance companies. This place too is gradually developing into a city as many of them are also putting up their houses at various stages of completion.
